Donate To Provide Free Mobility & Living Aid Equipment
What is this project about?
One of the major difficulties that many disabled people face, is the challenge of impaired mobility. Through this project, Disability Care Trust UK aims to focus on disabled people who are in need of specialist equipment for their mobility. Arranging the provision of specialist equipment for disabled people, in particular, the children and young people would help to improve their conditions of life and wellbeing.
Typically, people who have disabilities, injuries, or are at increased risk of falling, choose to use mobility aids. These devices provide several benefits to users, including more independence, reduced pain, and increased confidence and self esteem. A range of mobility devices is available to meet people’s needs – from canes and crutches to wheelchairs, hearing aids and stair lifts.
Who will benefit from your donation?
Donations given to this project will mainly benefit children and young people with physical disabilities that affect or impair their mobility. We hope to benefit people in both the UK and Bangladesh
What will we do?
Under this project, we aim to identify at least 100 people who are in need of specific mobility equipment but lack the necessary means to get them.
